You can go deeper by adding extensions and using shrink tubes for the plugs, with some customers using up to 10 extensions. Lowering the transducer improves side imaging and helps identify targets through their shadows. We use a Humminbird system with a 500 ft cable, allowing searches up to 350 ft deep, leading to many successes. Our fish are made in a CNC machine shop for precise dimensions.
